Add a "server load" section in the application. (See image attached).748 votes
Please add IKEv2 support. IKEv2 protocol is much faster than L2TP and secure and usually not censored.628 votes
I would love to see the same "per app" option on Vypr for Windows that is already available on the Apple Mac and Android versions.
It would be very useful to be able to allow certain apps to bypass the VPN when it is running.546 votes
Add a check mark to disable internet if VPN connection is lost.388 votes
Kill Switch is now in production for Windows and MAC.
Thanks for your patience!
instead of press disconnect and reconnect again.
why not add a button below it saying "change ip address"
which allows user to change the ip address in the same location218 votes
Add a list of software to start on connection success and to (force) close when losing connection.
I'm using "VPN Lifeguard" to do this, but it will be better if integrated inside your application.
Very usefull when using a software that should not run outside the VPN.

We have implemented a similar feature, Kill Switch, in our VyprVPN Windows 2.5 release which allows the user to choose to not have internet access when the computer is not connected to VPN. We are currently working on the proof of concept for per-app VPN. I hope this answers your questions!
If you had an option to disconnect / connect to the VPN via command line in windows, then I can script the process to occur automatically depending on specific criteria. This would then be controllable outside of your UI, allowing more flexibility.
Example: In other VPN services you can do something like this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VyprVPN\VyprVPN.exe" -disconnect
This in turn can be created into a batch file and added to your "project" or whatever.211 votes
Thank you for your feedback. We are currently working on adding a Jump-list feature to VyprVPN that would allow for command line in Windows. With the Jump-list release we are looking into posting a list of commands that could be used with the application. Sign up to receive Beta updates and you should see an update soon.
Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 now supports l2tp over ipsec, but vyprvpn not working... ?163 votes
I would like an option in desktop app, thats automatic selecting the server that are closest to your location, so your always are connected to the best server(For optimal speed), which also can be used for people that are traveling alot.140 votes
Fastest server has been released in version 2.6.0 of VyprVPN Windows. Please let us know how you like it!
The earlier program version minimised to tray when starting automatically on Windows start. The latest version has taken away that feature and the program starts maximised on the desktop now. That may be great for some but I like to control how auto-start programs behave, ie whether they are maximised or minimised. It would be good if a "Minimise to tray" tickbox option existed in General Options which is available when you select "Launch VprVPN on log in".135 votes
If the auto-reconnection fails after a given amount of times, then have the App automatically try a different server location for a given amount of times, and then try a different server after, so on and so forth, until a successful connection is made.93 votes
give us the ability to define an URL set which will be used for connections over the vyprvpn only.
lets say i define www.netflix.com only the traffic to/from netflix.com goes through the vpn connection, all other traffic will use the standard route without vpn88 votes
HTTP/HTTPS proxy support for Vyprvpn software. Currently those who are behind firewal and use a proxy to connect to internet aren't able to use Vyprvpn83 votes
When I pass my mouse arrow over the tray icon, the information is Vyprn Connected 10.xx.xx.xx . The internal IP is not very usefull, it would be better to give the location (I know we can obtain it by clicking on the icon).66 votes
If you right-click the VyprVPN icon in the system tray, you will now see your public IP (VyprVPN IP if you are connected).
How about a TX/RX speed measurement and display? It could be enabled or disabled if there is concern about CPU cycles.40 votes
A window display on the desktop when Vypr disconnects. This would let a user know when they have been away from their system that they need to reconnect before going online.39 votes
Improved notifications are on the roadmap. Thanks for the feedback.
Hello! It would be nice to be able to change the size of the application window !35 votes
A Firefox extension that would simply allow placing the 'Country Name' (or flag) ON the browser toolbar to remind me where I'm tunnling to.33 votes
At the moment we can only select from a few recently connected vpn server with the associated protocol when right clicking on the mini icon tray.
It would be great if we had the ability to switch to any vpn server with any protocol directly from drop down menus for the location and protocol when right clicking on the vypvpn mini icon tray instead of having to open the full setup window to do it.30 votes
Users can use the server window to desginate favorites. The favorites will appear in the slide-out menu in the taskbar menu.
Support for switching protocols in the taskbar is not on our roadmap.
I would like to select which IP addresses or ranges should be reached via VPN.
One way would be to configure thoses addresses directly, but thinking about that, I just got another idea:
Add an option to route all trafic to the country, that the VPN server is located in, through the tunnel.
That would be great, though I see some technical dificulties here. I would be happy about manual configuring networks though.29 votes
- Don't see your idea?
