Auto include blocklist.de IPTables via daily crontab
Blocklist.de is a service I add in addition to fail2ban to reduce malicious attackers chances of getting in.
www.blocklist.de is a free and voluntary service provided by a Fraud/Abuse-specialist, whose servers are often attacked on SSH-, Mail-Login-, FTP-, Webserver- and other services.
The mission is to report all attacks to the abuse deparments of the infected PCs/servers to ensure that the responsible provider can inform the customer about the infection and disable them.
Add as part of the installation to autoreport the abusers to blocklist.de and include the script for IPTables daily. In the meantime others can add at least…

VyprDNS or other secure DNS option
It would be great if Golden Frog offered a secure DNS option with VyprVPN Server. Like using VyprDNS or something else equally secure.

Allow user to add in custom routes in VyprVPN Server
Allow users to push other routes to clients via server configuration. This would allow my users to route to other connected subnets in my aws environment.

VyprVPN Server Pricing
First, I want to say that offering user-installable VyprVPN Server options is brilliant. It gives that user who wants a server in Fargo (or where ever) an opportunity to put one there for their own use. And it may solve problems and limitations with other VPNs used by corporate LANs (e.g. our CISCO VPN is a pain).
I think it makes a lot of sense to focus on trying to sell VyprVPN subscriptions rather than servers. It keeps pricing simple, and encourages more user accounts, which I believe is long-term recurring monthly revenue. You should try to position Server such…

Ability to import own private keys for Web Panel SSL
Find it annoying to not be able to use existing issued wildcard certificate on the web admin panel. Any chance for an import tool for the keys in addition to the certificate?

allow administrator to set the private networks used for the VPN connections to prevent conflict with existing private networks
The existing setup of VyprVPN server doesn't allow the admin to set which network ranges are going to be used for the tun0/1 interfaces. This can lead to a network clash and none functioning routing.

Allow configuration of what IP's are allowed to connect to the VPN protocols on VyperVPN - Server
Currently the Admin IPs feature allows the administration interfaces to be protected to known IP addresses. I'd like to also block access to the VPN protocols as well.
9 votesThank you for your suggestion!
Currently, we do allow users to restrict access to the admin panel by IP address. This can be done by accessing the web admin panel and going to the Server Settings section. From there, fill in the IPs for “Allowed Admin IP Addresses.”
If you aren’t referring to the admin panel, would you please elaborate on what type of access you would like to restrict?

Add integration for UpCloud
UpCloud would be good match as IaaS provider for VyprVPN Server as they are very security aware:

Add the server's IP address to Allowed Admin IP Addresses in System Settings
Within the System Settings: After adding the first IP (and thus enabling the firewall), the IP of the server should also be added

A catchy name for the new server product: "VyprServer"!
Maybe I'm just being a bit crazy, but I think you should call the new product "VyprServer".
Kind-of like "Hyper-Server", except that:
(1) It would actually work without jumping through hoops, burning brown rice, and sacrificing small rodents.
(2) It wouldn't have more bugs than a bait-shop, and it wouldn't be a "honey-pot" for virii and malware to collect.
(3) And the company sponsoring it (gasp!) actually listens to its customers! (Ooh! what a concept!)Seriously, I think a catchy name like that would help drive interest in the product as it would be easily remembered.
What say ye?
