  1. Auto disconnect on trusted networks

    I've set my router such that all local traffic is through the VPN. I want to be automatically on VPN while away from home, and auto disconnect when I arrive home.

    To make this happen, I want the option to auto connect when on untrusted networks (including the option to call cellular "untrusted") and a separate option to auto disconnect on trusted networks (including the option to call cellular "trusted").

  3. Way to add LTE as a trusted or untrusted network

    I don't want to use VPN on cellular network. If i connect to a public untrusted wifi the VPN will connect and after I move out of range, VPN stay connected on LTE because there is no way to tell the app I trust LTE.

    On the other side someone could not trust LTE but would not want the vpn to connect on if home wifi.

    Please add a switch asking if you trust 3G/LTE cellular data network and make it auto connect like untrusted wifi option.

    Thank you for the idea!

    You could temporarily circumvent this by disabling the auto-reconnect on disconnect option. When you move off an untrusted network, the app disconnects and reconnects, although it may seem like the connection between the wifi network and LTE is maintained, it is not. Any time the network changes, VyprVPN will need to reconnect. Although, it does so quickly.

    If you turn off auto-reconnect, the connection will break after jumping from wifi to LTE and it will not re-establish.

  5. Add support for URL schemes/x-callback-URL

    I'm trying to automate as much as I can on my iPhone: let's say I want to upload a file to my WebDAV server it would be gr at if I could use a x-callback-URL to automatically connect to my VyprVPN server and continue the workflow after connected. (Im using workflow for iOS and drafts) another example would be if I use my internet banking app: write a workflow that first connects to the fastest vyprvpn server and then opens my banking app. An I'm sure there are a lot more use cases!

    Auto reconnect does not recognize that I have switched to a trusted net. It keeps reconnecting on my trusted net until i turn it off.

  13. Add more VPN(connect option) protocol in phone

    The chameleon didn't really work out in China but the PPTP type is working quite all right although it provide only a basic security. However the phone and pad didn't have a different option to choose so the only available choice is IPSec and it is quite hard to connect a VPN in other devices. Please help

  16. Captive Portal Detector

    One annoyance with the app is that when you move from one WiFi network to another with a captive portal, the app get stuck trying to reconnect.
    Detecting this captive portal first, prior to connecting to the VPN service would help replace this issue.

  18. Audio on disconnect

    I would like to hear an audible sound on iOS devices when VPN disconnect. I often discover that VPN is not operating in the background.
    I have to tap the icon to start VPN again. I never know when it disconnects.

  20. Either location based or favorite network to manage using the app

    Have a way to use/not use the app when you're on a known secure network. Either be able to add a favorite/known network or have some kind of geofencing for those kinds of network.
