  1. Wireguard on OPNsense

I see you have many entries for a manual wireguard connection already so this is not a new idea - only another request for OPNsense.

  2. IPsec/IKEv2 on OpenWRT as an alternative to Wireguard

Wireguard is not yet fully developed in contrast to IPsec/IKEv2 and both variants bring more speed on routers than with OpenVPN.

What is required from the implementation?

    1. an RSA public key or new certificates are necessary.
    2. the VyprVPN server must allow a VTI (Virtual Tunnel Interface) to be able to configure a KillSwitch on OpenWRT.

In the OpenWRT forum there are enough examples how to configure IPsec/IKEv2.

As you can see, not much is necessary for the implementation. Please vote.

  3. WireGuard Configuration for GL-iNet Routers

  5. Wireguard in DD-WRT

Wireguard is the most robust protocol and VyprVPN is loosing big time against other VPN providers by not support Wireguard in DD-WRT Routers.

    Check this out
    https://www.ivpn.net/setup/router/ddwrt-wireguard/

Please provide wireguard support for dd-wrt.

    Thanks

  6. IKEv2 on Mikrotik Router OS

I thinks if GoldenFrog Team develop on VPN in Mikrotik Routers it could be game change for industry in VPN options.

  7. Add VyprVPN Router App for Asuswrt-Merlin

The Asuswrt-Merlin firmware developed by for RMerlin for ASUS routers has become incredibly popular and is much easier for the average user to install and configure than Tomato or DD-WRT because from a user standpoint the only difference between it and the stock firmware from ASUS is additional settings.

ASUS has also recently released the RT-AC86U and GT-AC5300 routers which are capable of faster VPN speeds than most any other current consumer router due to the CPU supporting AES-NI, which is an instruction that accelerates VPN encryption speeds. Users are hitting north of 250 Mbps through OpenVPN on the RT-AC86U…

  8. VyprVPN settings with LEDE

    Prerequisites:
    - Know your way around Linux, SSH (putty), Shell, Compile your own firmware, understand Class A, B, C Networking.

    My setup: VirtualBox by Oracle
compile your own LEDE firmware and select the packages you want to have yourself (minimal installation = cleanest installation)

    Information for starters:
    https://lede-project.org/docs/user-guide/virtualbox-vm.
    https://www.virtualbox.org/

I'm not going to write a full tutorial here how to handle linux and all the commands. You can use search engines online for that.

But the information on routers setup, dd-wrt, openwrt didn't work on my end so I analyses the error logs to get it up and running…

  9. custom LED support

shibby supports access to the router's LEDs. It would be nice to add an option to enable a VyprVPN LED configuration that will show the status of the VPN (disconnected, connecting, connected or error)

  10. Gargoyle support

VYPRVPN provide support for OPENWRT firmware running on many routers.
It will be nice to extend this support to the Gargoyle firmware (a front-end of OPENWRT).

  11. Per-Device VPN device reload button

My devices in the per device vpn section contain old devices that are no longer on the network and new ones don't show up. The new ones have been connected and not picked up. I do have a static mac table as well and don't know if it is read by vyprvpn or just the active mac table.

  12. Router App - Silently Move Connection to server with lowest ping

The ability to automatically and silently(no disconnects) migrate vpn connection to a server location with a lower ping if the current one reaches a threshold.

  14. Make VyprVPN Router working again with latest Shibby version (140+)

Actually VyprVPN Router app works only up to version 132 (Release Date is October 2015). It is not working with latest Shibby version anymore.

Although it is a well-known issue there was no progress about 1 year:
    https://forum.goldenfrog.com/t/tomato-app-version-combination/2672

Due many (security) fixes by Shibby the VyprVPN should also support the latest Shibby version again and the support should not stop at version 132.

  15. Whitelist for Service / IP Range / Domain to bypass VPN

Example: You have a Smart TV / Phone and want to protect your device using VPN, but some apps are using a VPN blocker (e.g. Netflix).

Instead of bypass VPN for given device it would be better to bypass the specific service (e.g. Netflix) by either Service / IP Range or domain.

  16. Router app backup and restore

I have, unfortunately, had to reinstall the app and firmware a few times. The hardest part is when I have to reconfigure all of the devices under the Per Device VPN, i.e. adding known names and specific privileges using previous screenshots because resetting the router wipes it all out. A handy upgrade for the app would be to backup and restore these settings that are separate from the router configuration.

  17. Block device from accessing local LAN

I like the client apps that allow you to specify whether they are able to access the local LAN. Can that be done per device in the router app? I would like to isolate some of my IoT devices so they can get to internet but NOT connect to any of my internal devices behind the firewall...

  20. ASUSWRT/VyprVPN Integration

The ASUSWRT Software is very well set up for managing an ASUS router. It would be great to be able to have the features from the VyprVPN app accessible through the ASUSWRT UI so that both can be used to a very powerful network set up.
