I've got custom DNS added to my hosts file for fake local URLs (http://website.dev/ where website is the name of a project, for example).

I want my browser to always use the VPN, for remote connections, but this prevents my custom project URLs from loading my local content, since they're routed through the VPN.

It would be great if there were something like a VyprVPN browser extension helper where you could set "Bypass VPN" or "Require VPN" on a browser tab basis (similar to the new per-App settings, but per open tab, if you desire something other than the default setting for that browser).

Other option is to just allow us to enter URLs, similar to the per-App settings, and choose our VPN setting. This way I could say website.dev should bypass the VPN.
