Connect to VyprVPN Servers using OpenVPN config file
The ability to connect to any VyprVPN server, such as Toronto or Los Angeles, with a simple .opvn config file that would work on any platform.
This already exists in beta format for personal VyprVPN servers, but I would like to see it expanded to the public servers as well.
VyprVPN’s OpenVPN files can be used to connect on Linux, instructions can be found here – https://support.vyprvpn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037721812-VyprVPN-OpenVPN-Setup-for-Linux-Ubuntu-
Although the steps in the article above were made using Ubuntu 16.04, we have tested and confirmed that they work on Ubuntu 20.04 as well. It is likely to work on many other versions of Linux, but other versions haven’t been tested by us.
The latest firmware from GL-iNET for my AR300-M is no longer compatible with the .ovpn files. It will be better to have a complete solution with GL-iNET like all the major VPN providers. This small routers are inexpensive and extremely good.
