Thank you for your suggestion!
Currently, we do allow users to restrict access to the admin panel by IP address. This can be done by accessing the web admin panel and going to the Server Settings section. From there, fill in the IPs for “Allowed Admin IP Addresses.”
If you aren’t referring to the admin panel, would you please elaborate on what type of access you would like to restrict?

You can adjust your notification sounds in the app’s settings menu. This will allow you to customize the sound you hear when a message is received.
An error occurred while saving the comment Please reach out to our Support team if you are having trouble with notification sounds. This should be working normally. https://www.goldenfrog.com/contact-support

We have added support for Android TV with our latest 2.10 release. It is optimized for Android TV on 5.1.1 OS Version, but should be fully functional and provide a great experience on Fire TV as well!
Let us know what you think of the updates. :)
An error occurred while saving the comment I would like to mention to the followers here that you can connect your router to VyprVPN and any devices connecting to it, including Amazon Fire TV, will go through the Vypr connection as well! https://support.goldenfrog.com/hc/en-us/categories/200234248-VyprVPN-for-Router

VyprVPN 2.9.6 will introduce user-selectable OpenVPN adapters, with the default being the standard OpenVPN TAP adapter. The other option is the VyprVPN TAP adapter, which could be used in cases where the standard OpenVPN TAP adapter fails (due to conflicts, etc).
This is already available in the Advanced tab of the 2.9.6.7169 beta version and it will be out in production very soon.
While the driver itself is not selectable, the adapter is and both adapters will use the most up-to-date, secure drivers for OpenVPN.
An error occurred while saving the comment We are not vulnerable to Heartbleed because we are running this version of OpenSSL, 1.0.1h, which was build after the Heartbleed incident. The TAP device doesn't provide encryption, we're using it to direct packets into OpenVPN to be encrypted.

An error occurred while saving the comment For multi-device, the conversations will remain consistent between devices.
However, to sync the conversation, we must store the encrypted messages on our server from 1 to 30 days (user defines the retention time) instead of deleting the message from the server when the user receives it (like we do in single device mode).

Great News! We just added automatic and manual port selection to the VyprVPN Windows app. Mac is very close to being completed and will enter Beta in the next week or so.

- Chameleon and OpenVPN automatic port selection randomly scans for open ports to defeat intentional port blocking or throttling
- Chameleon and OpenVPN manual port selection allows you to choose the portAn error occurred while saving the comment TCP over 443 and the ability to switch between UDP/TCP are on our roadmap and planned for later this year.
An error occurred while saving the comment You should be able to connect using OpenVPN 160 through port 443. Please reach out to our Support Team support@goldenfrog.com if you are still having connection issues.
An error occurred while saving the comment We agree that we need support for more ports. We have started development to add support for user-selected ports in our applications.
Thanks for the continued feedback!

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks, that was very helpful. The idea of making the router web UI mobile friendly is a very interesting idea. We have had some somewhat similar ideas for controlling those settings. Device filtering is a must.
An error occurred while saving the comment I have a couple of questions. If were to have a solution like this, do you have particular router models in mind that you particularly like? What features were most important to you besides the basic VPN functionality?

An error occurred while saving the comment Is it true that IPv6 websites already use a 6to4 gateway due to low adoption of IPv6? What ipV6 content is IPv6 only? Please help provide us more detail so we can better understand your request.

Hey everyone, we launched a VyprVPN server cluster in Tokyo, Japan today!
Thanks for the feedback and votes! South Korea will launch next week.
http://www.goldenfrog.com/blog/new-vpn-server-cluster-in-japan
How to Access the Japan Server Cluster:
VyprVPN Desktop – If you use VyprVPN Desktop, the new server cluster will automatically be available when you choose your server location.
VyprVPN Mobile – If you use VyprVPN Mobile, simply log out of the app and log back in to enable Japan as an option.
Manual Setup – If you manually set up VyprVPN on your operating system, you can update your VyprVPN hostname to: jp1.vpn.goldenfrog.com
An error occurred while saving the comment William,
Why do you want a Japan server? Do you live in Japan and want a closer location than Hong Kong? Or, do you live outside of Japan and want to access blocked websites?

If you right-click the VyprVPN icon in the system tray, you will now see your public IP (VyprVPN IP if you are connected).
An error occurred while saving the comment Good suggestions -- we also know that the OpenVPN IP address showing 10.x.x.x is just wrong too.
We are interested in hearing what information WOULD be most interesting to you? Currently we show you your external IP (except for the defect with OpenVPN which is being fixed in the upcoming release), and this suggestion is asking for the location (e.g. "Germany"). Is there anything else you would want to see on that mouse over?
Thank you for the clarification, Bob.
