Great News! We just added automatic and manual port selection to the VyprVPN Windows app. Mac is very close to being completed and will enter Beta in the next week or so.

This is a definite need. I don't see the point of investing in efforts like Chameleon if you can't get through a firewall because of simple port restrictions. We definitely need an option for alternative ports like 443/TCP. Especially since Vypr is suddenly making a push for business customers, and many company firewalls block everything other than basic ports like 443.

While VyprVPN's protocol descriptions emphasize speed differences, the real issue is battery drain. It seems a bit odd that there is a 160-bit cipher option in the desktop clients (where battery drain and CPU load are not as often an issue) but not in the Android client--where battery drain and weaker CPUs are an issue, and thus would benefit from it.
