Unfortunately for x86 based QNAPs only and not for ARM cpus.

I have placed setup instructions in the Goldenfrog forum:
    http://forum.goldenfrog.com/t/how-to-get-vpn-service-working-on-qnap-nas-units/446/11
in order to use OpenVPN on QNAP NAS.

I would appreciate if QNAP NAS would be added to the supported devices.

The change in my posting is needed due to the fact that the OpenVPN options on the Goldenfrog servers have to match the options on the client.
Unfortunately, this is not the case while using QNAP NAS default client options.
As a result, the connection will drop after a short while.
Therefore I have examined the logfile and added the missing options to the OpenVPN client.

However, I still noticed some errors in the OpenVPN log on my QNAP which I mentioned in my posting. Maybe GF support can check them out and give some hints how to get rid of them.
